ANNOUNCEMENTS

All,
It is with sadness that I report the passing of Coach John Thompson last Saturday evening, here in Hartford. After learning that he lived in Hartford (and finally learning his address, 4 blocks from me) I made multiple unsuccessful attempts ringing his doorbell, but finally this morning Shirley answered the door and we spent 10 minutes chatting. She mentioned that the Coach had been suffering from Parkinson's Disease and COPD. The obituary will be published perhaps tomorrow, but Friday latest in the Milwaukee Journal. His funeral will be this Saturday, 23 December, at Peace Lutheran Church in Hartford. Perhaps I'll see a few of you there.

Thank you to the reunion committee for a wonderful weekend. Your time and effort did not go unnoticed. It was great to see so many people and catch up and reconnect!
On another note, are there any ladies that might be interested in bowling in an informal bowling league at Bluemound bowl on Wednesday mornings. We are looking for more bowlers to add to our league. Non-competitive more social and fun. Message me if you’re interested.
