Cathy and I were very close friends since 5th grade. We would walk to and from St. Margaret Mary school together. We stayed in contact with each other as time went by and we each got married and had children. I was maid of honor in her marriage to Roger Bengston in 1975. Cathy left us way too early at age 50 due to cancer.
